Day in 'zeh life

- #2 is pottytraining . . . peed in the Children's Museum today (no, not in the bathroom . . . )
- dealing with this terrible combination: negligent non-profit founder; tax debt; IRS . . . ack!
- Dinner with the bickering inlaws tonight, then sneak off to go shopping with my favorite shopping friend . . .
I can make my amends at "peace and simplicity" vespers on Sunday :)

The Yellow Wiggle

Greg, the yellow wiggle, has quit! As someone whose sons were both, for a period of roughly two years, absolutely obsessed with the Wiggles (yes, boy #2 went to concerts both in and out of womb), I must say I had a few tears when I watched Greg's official "goodbye" and his "handing over of the yellow skivvy." Here's to you, Greg, with your earnest, horrible dancing and lopsided grin!

My First Blog

I've been reading blogs on and off for a while (although I've never really been able to keep up with any one). I read a really cool one (thanks, Jesse!) so I thought I would try to keep up with a monthly blog---I'm not ready to post something truly exciting yet, but here are my boys, who right now are running around my small house with brand new gel mohawks and swords.


I'm basking in the fall sun streaming into my livingroom as I try to get through a stack of my students' midterms. Tonight we head to TUUC for NWEI sponsored "Healthy Children, Healthy Planet," where I plan to revel in my sense of guilt about letting my older son watch Jimmy Neutron on commercial TV this morning. Good day, all! Oh, and happy birthday to kitty Dexter, who is seven today.
